Project Management Lead - Job Description

Reporting directly to the V.P. Finance, you will be managing strategic, company-wide programs that are sponsored by executive stakeholder(s). It will be your job to take on a project management leadership role in executing programs and projects that deliver against organizational key goals. You will collaborate to influence and champion change which drives new ways of doing business and provide operational efficiency. Concurrently, there are the never-ending challenges to create cross-functional processes and best practices for program management while manifesting a positive and pro-active environment for all stakeholders. We are looking for an individual who has strong leadership, excellent communication, and hands-on project/program management skills, as well as proficiency in motivating and leading others through vision and strategic positioning.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Project lead large scale, cross-functional projects from original concept to final implementation.
  • Interact with all areas of the business to ensure projects are completed to meet objectives
  • Communicate overall status, issues, risks and outcomes to the Executive Sponsor, Business Owner(s) and Key Stakeholders.
  • Responsible for assembling the required teams, identifying required resources, assigning tasks and developing a schedule in collaboration with functional areas to ensure the timely completion of the project
  • Maintain an objective, fact-based perspective and encourage teams to display transparency on status and to proactively recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Manages issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure achievement of the project outcomes and benefits.
  • Provide project/program management expertise and mentorship to other areas of the organization


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Project management methodologies - PMP certification required
  • 8-10 years' experience
  • High aptitude in successfully leading and managing multiple projects/programs simultaneously.
  • Strong background and experience working in a stakeholder-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  • Superior problem solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to make recommendations to management and influence business decisions.
  • Well versed in the use of Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, etc.
  • Goal-oriented, positive, self-starter, with strong analytical skills.
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment Business operations knowledge.
